Announcing MAY MVP – Michelle Kasak
As I get older I realize how important it is to stay fit and be active (for health reasons vs. vanity). If I’ve had a stressful day I know I can count on my Crossfit friends to put a smile on my face.
Announcing Jefferson City CrossFit May MVP! Michelle was one of our first members with JCCF. She came to us with a smile on her face and a determined look in her eyes. She wanted her first pullup, and she got it! Now she just wants more. She does not believe in a finish line and lives by the motto deeds not words. I can’t count the number of times, I look over my shoulder and find Michelle already done with the WOD and think, ‘Dang she is fast!’ She not only is dedicated inside the box, but she is outside also. She works hard at her job and in her nutrition and it shows. Did you see that Burpee video we posted of her on Wednesday night? When we go around class asking about what her favorite part of her day was, she says, “I just finished a huge project at work!” Goes to show that her characteristics inside the box are carried throughout her every day life. She is such a great role model, and it has been a joy to have her as part of our Jefferson City CrossFit community. Thank you Michelle!

“I’m the strongest that I’ve ever been in my life and I’ve tried a lot of different types of workouts. As I get older I realize how important it is to stay fit and be active (for health reasons vs. vanity). If I’ve had a stressful day I know I can count on my Crossfit friends to put a smile on my face. I feel re-energized and re-focused after a WOD. I’m totally addicted!”
