Annual 8 Week Fitness Challenge Begins January 2, 2017
January 2nd is a Monday, it falls right after New Years Eve and Christmas and will allow us to begin the 2017 Year with bang!
January 2nd is a recognized holiday for several places of business. On this day, I will be offering 3:30pm Meeting to discuss aspects of the challenge, prior to coaching the 4:30 class. We will discuss tools to count macros, meal planning, and tracking data for success. A handout will be provided. I will be available after class at 5:30pm also for any questions.
That day in regular classes we will be having a test to begin the challenge. Based on 4 components:
2) Measured Inches
3) A Test of Strength
4) A Test of Metabolic Conditioning Workout of the Day (otherwise known as Cardio)
These areas will be tested and then 8 weeks later will be tested again on Monday, February 27, 2016. The persons that “Beat” their old self the most….. ultimately win! This falls directly before the beginning of our Friday Night Lights CrossFit Open 2017 Season. Have you made goals from last years open that you wanted to get better at? Did it pull weaknesses out that you didn’t realize you had? Or is this possibly the first CrossFit Open you are going to participate in? Well joining an 8 week Fitness challenge of Wodding 3 to 4 times a week, adding open gym sessions and accountability for your nutrition may be just what you need to have the best CrossFit Open Season yet!
The individual male and female who wins gets a prize! It is always nice to get a prize, but ultimately the goal is to instill habits to a better, healthier lifestyle. There will be partner Accountability again, and the only way is up!
